Summer lovin

@ 4:38 pm- schooling, just think'n

Yesterday I came to a sudden realisation that Spring is approaching. Exclamation point.

The sun is shining and the weather is noticeably warmer. Some where between the times that I spent locked in front of the computer/TV, flowers started to bloom and people started shedding their winter coats. It was a positively uplifting realisation. I like spring, purely for the fact that it brings me closer to summer. I long for summer, for exposed skin, for beaches and sunshine, for mangos and peaches, for pretty sun dresses. I think I have a very romanticised view of summer, for me sunshine and happiness skips hand-in-hand, when in reality summer is never as picture perfect as in my mind. But hey, a girl can dream.

This morning I woke to the sound of rain outside my window and a grey sky to match. The sun will not make an appearance all day, and I put on an extra warm jacket before leaving the house. That’s Me!bourne for ya.

postscript. Here is my head in the process of being modeled in Maya.

  1. Hi, I’m the one who left the probably annoying comment over at your livejournal the other day. I truly hate to be a bother, but I’m looking to make a new livejournal this week and I would just like to know your answer. Even if it is ‘no’ I would like to know so I can try to find another username. I love Fushigi Yuugi and I adore Miaka and identify with her greatly, otherwise I wouldn’t bother you so much.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Also. I accidentally left my url as ~miaka instead of MY journal ~lizzar. So sorry, I had just typed in your journal’s url so I typed it again. -_-
