I have a bad habbit of chewing off my nails when stressed. Right now I have to scratch at things with the pudgey flesh of my raw finger tips.

On the slightly brighter side, I have finished my final assignments for Animation and Video. Very close to finishing my Flash website and at a comfortable stage with the Flash game. I’m also close to finishing Design, but I really don’t like the work I’ve done. This leaves me in a bit of a panic still with 2D and 3D, both of which are going to be rough cannot-be-assed jobs. Only one week left. I’ll be going to Canberra for the weekend, which will eat away 3 precious days!

• Sunday we graced the WVD festivities and enjoyed a few moments of being able to sample all food items without having to question their integrity. (There might have also been a slight sense of superiority as we deduced that we were more ‘normal’ than a lot of the attendees. To further solidify this theory, we wasted the better part of the day in Chadstone)
• Himself bought a whole water melon, fulfilling a life-long dream of his. We carved out a lid at the top and dig at the flesh through the little hole.
• The Departed was pretty good. Although not as stylish as it’s HK counterpart Infernal Affairs.
• Today we will see The Hip Hop Project. Produced by Bruce Willis.
• This is week 16 of the semester. The year ends after week 18, classes end after week 17. Five assignments are due in week 17 (Video, Concpet Development, Animation and 3D Modelling), three more due in week 18 (Interactive Multimedia, Design and 2D Imaging). None have been finished so far. One haven’t even been started (3D modelling. I cannot drag my spacially inept brain to work on it)

Yesterday I came to a sudden realisation that Spring is approaching. Exclamation point.

The sun is shining and the weather is noticeably warmer. Some where between the times that I spent locked in front of the computer/TV, flowers started to bloom and people started shedding their winter coats. It was a positively uplifting realisation. I like spring, purely for the fact that it brings me closer to summer. I long for summer, for exposed skin, for beaches and sunshine, for mangos and peaches, for pretty sun dresses. I think I have a very romanticised view of summer, for me sunshine and happiness skips hand-in-hand, when in reality summer is never as picture perfect as in my mind. But hey, a girl can dream.

This morning I woke to the sound of rain outside my window and a grey sky to match. The sun will not make an appearance all day, and I put on an extra warm jacket before leaving the house. That’s Me!bourne for ya.

My final Flash assignment from last semester, which is also the second piece I’ve ever made in Flash. Its silly but kinda fun…. sorta…

I made a yummy pumpkin soup for dinner tonight. I’m quite proud of my pumpkin soups - one of the few things I can conjure up in the kitchen stadium. Other culinary delights under my belt include toasting bread in the oven, steamed veggies and the occasional fried rice. I am also a whizz with the microwave and caned goods. Funnily enough, I prepare most of the meals in this little ménage pour deux.

Horrah. finally figured out saving Quicktime for web ^^; Feel like such a noob. Need to improve on the web skills.

Anyway, second assignment for the animation class. Drawn with pencil on post-its. The breif required 30-40 post-its, but somehow mine turned out to be 84… whoops.
